Mission

“Give smaller healthcare organizations the clarity and tools to understand their risks, fix what matters most, and protect the people and information entrusted to them.”

The people this is for

A 22-person home health agency has the same federal obligations as a 22,000-person hospital system — without the security team, the compliance office, or the budget. The administrator who runs payroll also answers the phone about phishing emails.

The industry mostly offers them two things: checkbox software that grades their own homework and tells them they’re fine, or enterprise consulting priced for the hospital system. Neither actually watches over them.

CuraDefend is built to be the third thing: an honest assessment a small team can actually complete, reviewed by a person who signs their name to it, ending in a plan sized to reality — and a watch that continues after the report.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Truth over comfort

We never certify compliance, never inflate scores, and never soften a critical finding to keep a customer comfortable.

  • Human accountability

Every score has a reviewer's name behind it. Software computes; people judge.

  • No fear marketing

We won't sell with breach-porn statistics or countdown timers. The facts are motivating enough.

  • Data minimalism

We don't collect patient information — ever — and we retain as little of your organizational data as the work allows.

  • Priced for the mission

If the people we exist to serve can't afford us, the mission has failed. Pricing stays honest and public.
